I will be graduating in May of 2020 with a chemical engineering major and a minor in biology. I have been doing undergraduate research for the past 3 years with Dr. Brewer. I did a study abroad semester in Seville, Spain. I love taking any opportunity I can to travel and visit new places. I could eat endless amounts of dark chocolate and ice cream!

Alix Knagg

I’m a CHME Senior who came over from the UK 3 years ago to pursue further education and to swim on the NMSU swim and dive team. I plan on applying for jobs in the USA to start after I graduate. Balancing swimming and CHME doesn’t leave much time for hobbies, whatever free time I get I like to nap and eat.
Esai Lopez

My expected graduation is May 2020. I have conducted research for 3 years on 4 of Dr. Brewer’s projects. This year I am President of NMSU’s chapter of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers. Typically I can be found in the ChME commons at all hours of the day and night. If I am not there I may be playing tennis or volleyball.

I am a chemical engineering undergraduate that will be graduating in May 2020. A position in industry is my aim, preferably a role in process engineering in aerospace. Being from Florida and having traveled throughout my life, I am excited to see where I’ll end up. My free time consists of playing with my husky Vladimir, exploring various little skills, and occasionally binging a good TV show.
